Kickapoo Ranch - Coke County
Catahoula Custom Spraying was engaged during the spring of 2025 to apply herbicide treatments across several pastures on our ranch located in East Coke County. The primary objective was to control the proliferation of whitebrush. In addition to whitebrush, the treatment also targeted mesquite, prickly pear, and red cedar plants less than two feet tall.
Although final outcomes will become clearer as the spring season progresses, the initial results are promising. There is a noticeable reduction in whitebrush, mesquite, and prickly pear populations, suggesting high effectiveness of the treatment. Particularly encouraging is the response of red cedar plants; not only have smaller specimens shown substantial die-off, but many larger red cedars are also exhibiting signs of probable kill.
Beyond the encouraging treatment results, the experience working with Austin and Sarah from Catahoula Custom Spraying was highly satisfactory. Their level of communication and courtesy throughout the process contributed significantly to a
positive working relationship.
Buggy Pole Ranch - Tom Green County
I could not recommend Catahoula Custom Spraying more. I had them come out and work with me on a plan to spray a lease property of roughly 1,250 acres. This is a multi year plan. The property is very difficult: neighborhoods on multiple sides, near public water sources, near Mathis Field, and close enough to Goodfellow AFB to cause issues. Catahoula was extremely professional. Regardless of your property's location, I would trust them to give you an honest appraisal of not only what they can do but, what they cannot do too. They also achieved a fantastic kill rate on the targeted species. Catahoula Custom Spraying will be the first operation I call when it comes to drone spraying in the future.
